Covid-19 Information for guests

CLEANLINESS & HYGIENE STANDARDS - COVID19

Our cleaners will be wearing face masks and using gloves from entering the house until exit. We are now using approved disinfecting/sanitising products and spending longer on the changeover ensuring that the house is correctly cleaned and sanitised, prior to your arrival.

Cleaning will focus on the following points:

1. High frequency touch points in the house and frequently touched items will be subject to extra disinfection and deep cleans. See list below. 2. The removal of pens, paper and guestbooks, whilst encouraging guests to provide digital responses and reviews. 3. Improved guidelines for the disinfecting of the house, means all surfaces in the bathrooms will be disinfected and properly cleaned. 4.Linens and laundry will be machine washed at 60°C 5.Alcohol based sanitiser and wipes to be provided.

KEY TOUCH POINT CLEANING TO FOCUS ON THE FOLLOWING:

  • Light switches, outlets, lamp and pull chains.
  • Window sills, window handles.
  • Cabinet and cupboard handles, including door knobs and drawers.
  • Controls for large appliances and electronics (washer, dryer, dishwasher, oven etc) and specific emphasis on fridges.
  • Controls and cords for plug-in appliances and electronics (coffee maker, kettle, TV etc.).
  • Temperature controls and thermostats.
  • Coat hangers and hooks.
  • Remote controls for TVs and other in-house technology.
  • Toys, games and child guest amenities, such as high chair.
  • Sofa’s and chairs to be spayed with Lysol…approved disinfectant spray.
  • Stair railings and bannisters and outdoor porch railings, including stair gates.
  • All bins and dustbins.
  • Hard surfaces including kitchen and food preparation areas.
  • All floors to be mopped with approved disinfectant/sanitiser.
  • Crockery, cutlery and glassware will be washed thoroughly.
  • Cleaning supplies, hand sanitiser and hand soaps will be cleaned and disinfected.
  • Skirting boards and doors.
  • Outdoor furniture and BBQ

After completing the clean, the last person out will walk through the property and disinfect all door knobs and handles that may have been touched.

Finally, the key safe, locks and keys will be disinfected.
